Freedom Franchise

“Freedom Franchise”, Zach’s first solo show, was a visual response to the systemic injustice of police brutality and the monetization of private prisons as well as their effects on our communities. The opening coincided with the acquittal of a St. Louis cop who shot and killed Anthony Lamar Smith, a 24-year-old black man. This show just so happened to take place in the same city.

The works included a 20 page, 2 color risograph zine, 2 TShirts, stickers, pins, and 6 wheat paste/mixed media pieces.
$1000 was raised and donated to Raices Texas.
